The Atlantic bemoans an ” ‘infodemic’—involving the viral spread of misinformation, as well as the mingling of facts with half-truths and falsehoods in a fractured media environment—has compounded the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Bunk.
The Atlantic bemoans an ” ‘infodemic’—involving the viral spread of misinformation, as well as the mingling of facts with half-truths and falsehoods in a fractured media environment—has compounded the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Bunk.
The Atlantic says Wikipedia is “the simplest, most succinct summary of the current state of knowledge on almost any subject you can imagine.” Well, yes. It is the voice of the Establishment. No wonder the Atlantic touts it.
Look. You can’t expect to be taken seriously by independent-minded people, if you assert that certain positions on disputed questions are merely “misinformation” and a “problem” to be “controlled.”
We live in a democracy. We are used to *debating things*, especially when claims are used to remove our civil liberties. The Atlantic should know this, but they’re part of the massive *media* problem we all have.
